The IE64-1Gbit/s Ethernet, based on a fast  DSP from Texas Instruments, has two CameraLink inputs and can process at the same time several hundred captured images per minutes. The customized Firmware rotates, cuts, binaries, deskews and/or compresses (according to CCITT Group IV, JPEG, JPEG2000).

The processed data will be transferred to the Host through   Ethernet or USB-2.0 interface. The Windows 2000/XP driver are supported for USB2.0. Naturally other driver can be customized. The board is conform with the European norm so that the IE64-1Gbit/s-Ethernet board can be included as an embedded system in every device, which must accomplish complicated image processing functions in a particular timeframe.

The CameraLink technology of IE64-1Gbit/s Ethernet was designed to work with all digital cameras, which support this standard interface. Both inputs allows to  capture data from two cameras at the same time (for example duplex documents). This facilitate the connection to Host systems.
